Trainee Estimator

Due to continued expansion my client is looking for a Trainee Estimator, with the opportunity to progress into a competent and experienced Estimator.
My client is committed to training the ideal candidate for the role.
Whether you have little or no experience in the industry or estimating sector, we encourage you to apply if you’re ready to embrace a new challenge. What you will be doing:
• To carry out pre-contract activities with enquiry set up and tendering duties
• Create and modify tender documents using Microsoft Office, Excel and Word
• Provide comprehensive support to the Estimating Department
• Handle incoming enquiries via phone, email and in person
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure efficient workflow and communication
• Apply for asset value quotations to our adoption partners
• Compile tender quotations for associated works
• Work alongside the operations team, procurement and the wider tendering team to ensure tenders are produced in a timely manner and to client expectations
• Any other duties as required
Rate of pay £11.44 per hour
Working Monday to Friday 7:30am – 5pm
