Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Handler to join our clients team.
This vacancy is immediate start for a 3 month contract.
Responsibilities:
Set up cases on the case management system.
Answer and handle incoming telephone calls from the public in Welsh and English.
Take oral complaints from complainants in Welsh and English.
Process complaints and correspondence received through ‘Ask’ including straightforward rejections, such as complaints that are clearly outside our jurisdiction.
To deal efficiently and courteously with enquiries from members of the public or others whether received by telephone, letter, e-mail or by visit, providing appropriate information and advice and making relevant records in accordance with the procedures.
Log the post and deal with the Team’s outgoing post
Management of individual and organisation databases in the case management system, in line with the governance procedures.
To update the case management system as necessary.
Essential:
Experience of providing a service which is fair and equitable to all regardless of age, disability, ethnicity, sex, gender reassignment, pregnancy or maternity, sexual orientation, religion or belief, whether they are married or in a civil partnership, or on the basis of any other irrelevant consideration.
Proven competence with IT systems.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
A good team member but with the ability to act on own initiative.
Absolute discretion and an understanding of the need for confidentiality.
