The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the management & flow of all materials from incoming through to dispatch at the company and at any outside storage facility.
This includes the control of stock levels & the accurate recording of components, raw materials, liquids, semi-finished and finished goods.
Essential Job Functions/ Responsibilities
Management and training of the Warehouse team.
Responsible for maintaining high levels of Health and Safety in the Warehouse, including safety training of the team.
Ensure the timely booking-in of all incoming materials and dispatch of finished goods or any other materials.
Manage work load to align with working hours ensuring flexibility during peak demand periods.
Report all delivery discrepancies and non-conformances to the suppliers/customers via the Logistics team.
Management and coordination of the annual stock check of components and finished goods at the company and at outside storage facility(ies).
Manage and coordinate monthly Wall-to-Wall stock checks as specified in customer agreements.
Manage capacity of both the warehouse and any external warehouse provider(s).
Inventory control & accurate stock reporting on X3 at the company and at any external warehouse provider.
Maintain a high service level of supply of all materials to the Operations team.
Set up and control external warehouse or external logistic services required to support the business.
Control all Warehouse costs, including labour, within the agreed budget.
Responsible for the management of good GMP standards within the Warehouse environment. Conduct regular audits & create and implement ‘control improvement plans’ to ensure continuous improvement.
Provide all necessary paperwork required for the dispatch of components, raw materials and liquids
Development of annual Key Performance Indicators for the department which are in line with the overall objectives of the company.
Qualifications and Experience – Essential
G.C.S.E. English & Mathematics grades A*-D (or equivalent);
Significant experience working in a FMCG environment;
GMP awareness;
Excellent understanding of safety and environmental issues;
Excellent understanding of high quality requirements.
Qualifications and Experience – Desirable
Previous experience of training a team of people
Significant experience working in a cosmetics or pharmaceutical FMCG environment;
A valid Reach Truck licence.
Previous line management experience.

8am – 4:30pm Monday to Thursday
8am – 1pm Friday
37 hours per week
Salary £35,000 dependant on experience
