JGR Group were delighted to celebrate two long-service anniversaries, along with a milestone for our owners, during the month of May 2026.
Jill Williams reached 30 years’ service with JGR Group having been a well-known and respected Recruiter throughout South Wales for 3 whole decades! Jill has worked with temporary recruitment and permanent recruitment throughout her time and is currently overseeing our Commercial Permanent vacancies – as well as sharing her expertise and experience across any of the desks when needed.
Jill commented “lots of things have changed over the years, with technology, IT and working methods, but the basics of finding the right people for our clients and providing a friendly, customer-focussed service has always been most important. I still get a buzz from finding the right person for a vacancy, and it always makes me smile when I find the right job for one of our candidates!”
Beverly Evans reached 25 years’ service with JGR Group and has been a name, voice and email address that will be known to thousands of temporary workers from over the years throughout the area. Bev started with JGR in 2001 and has looked after the payroll ever since. Bev must have paid thousands of people and has seen generations of the same family come through JGR payroll over the years.
Bev said “I cannot believe that it has been 25 years! I can remember starting and lots of things have changed with the way we work from then until now, but the team has always been great, and I have always really enjoyed working with everybody. It still feels a relief every Wednesday once everybody has been paid and all payments have gone through the systems successfully – the same as it felt 25 years ago!”
Long may this continue with Jill and Bev!
Hayley Robinson and Daniel Edwards reached the 10-year point of JGR Group ownership during April 2026. Both have worked within the group for 25 years but the last 10 of these have been as Directors / Owners.
Daniel said “10 years have come and gone fairly quickly, but when Hayley and I reflect upon that 10-year period, we realise that there have been lot of changes and there have been a lot of challenges. We are fortunate to have such great people to work with – our team have allowed us to adapt over the years.”
Hayley said “I am delighted to have reached a 10-year milestone. It is not easy, but time has flown by. I am always excited about the changes that we make as we progress, and I am genuinely looking forward to what the next 10 years will bring for us all at JGR!”
The team from JGR Group enjoyed a joint celebration by heading to Marble Steakhouse, Bridgend, for a fantastic meal and lovely afternoon!
