The Directors

Hayley Robinson

Hayley has been with JGR Group since 2000, and her role has evolved significantly over the years. She first joined the Neath office as an Office Administrator after graduating from university with a degree in History. Although initially undecided about a career in teaching, Hayley quickly became captivated by the fast-paced world of recruitment. No two days were ever the same, and she thrived on the energy and variety the industry brought.

In 2016, after 16 years working alongside the company’s founder, Jennifer Griffiths, Hayley and her business partner Daniel Edwards acquired JGR Group. Stepping into the role of owner and director was a natural progression, and one she’s never looked back on. Today, Hayley oversees all operational areas of Recruitment and Training, helping to grow the business while remaining very hands-on. With extensive experience across sectors including Commercial, Industrial, Engineering, Education, and Training, she brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her work. Above all, Hayley is a people person who thrives on the challenges and excitement of leading a recruitment and training company.

Hayley sees her biggest strengths as her strong communication skills, positive attitude, and sense of gratitude. She firmly believes in appreciating opportunities and keeping perspective, always recognising that there’s someone in a tougher position than ourselves. This outlook helps her remain grounded, resilient, and approachable.

Away from work, Hayley enjoys walking, skiing, and spending time with her family and friends, ideally with a good coffee in hand. She also has a fun side, never short of a story or a laugh.

In the office, Hayley is known for her positivity, honesty, and her inability to hide her feelings, her face always gives her away. She also likes to keep the team fuelled with plenty of tea. Her mix of professionalism, energy, and humour makes her not only an inspiring director but also someone her colleagues genuinely enjoy working with.

Daniel Edwards

Daniel began his career with JGR Group in 2002, starting out as a Temp Controller at the Neath office. Since then, he has progressed through a variety of roles within the business, gaining invaluable experience across all areas of recruitment and training. Today, he jointly owns and runs JGR Group alongside his business partner, Hayley Robinson.

Over the years, Daniel has seen many changes within the industry and the business itself, but one thing that has never shifted is JGR Group’s core values. He is proud of how the company has grown and evolved while continuing to put people at the heart of everything it does.

For Daniel, the journey so far has been extremely rewarding. He values the strong workforce JGR has built, both the dedicated in-house team and the many candidates who represent JGR with clients across different sectors. This combination of teamwork, trust, and shared commitment is, in his view, what makes JGR unique.

Looking ahead, Daniel is excited about the future. He remains passionate about building long-lasting relationships and looks forward to continuing to support clients, candidates, learners, and colleagues alike for many years to come.

Niamh Robinson

Recruitment Consultant

Niamh joined JGR in July 2024 as a Recruitment Support Officer and has quickly become a valued part of the team. She plays a key role in supporting candidates and clients throughout the recruitment process, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

What Niamh enjoys most about her role is the people she meets every day. She finds it rewarding to connect with candidates, learn about their career goals, and help them find a job they truly love. No two days are the same, and with each new candidate comes the opportunity to discover more about different professions and industries, something that keeps her work both exciting and challenging.

But in recruitment, that’s a gift, her ability to listen, connect, and keep conversations flowing helps both candidates and clients feel supported and understood.

Outside of JGR, Niamh works as a swimming teacher on the weekends, helping people of all ages, especially children, gain confidence in the water. When she’s not at the pool, she enjoys walks with her dog, Scout, or catching up with friends over an iced coffee by the beach.
