Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment are looking for a CNC Machine Operator for a Client in the Bridgend area.

Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality components in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in fabrication and materials handling.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machines according to technical specifications and production requirements.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
  • Handle materials safely, including loading raw materials and managing finished parts
  • Use hand tools and basic math skills to assist with assembly, fabrication, or minor adjustments as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment adhering to health and safety standards
  • Document production data accurately for quality control purposes

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in fabrication, machining, or manufacturing environments, preferably with CNC machinery
  • Familiarity with milling operations and the use of hand tools for minor repairs or adjustments
  • Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and interpreting technical drawings
  • Warehouse experience is advantageous
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and safety compliance

The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm/Friday 8am to 1.30pm.
