Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment are seeking an experienced Team Leader on behalf of a well-established manufacturing client based in the Bridgend area.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for leading, motivating, and supporting a team of Assembly Operators to ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and supervise a team of Assembly Operators.
* Provide hands-on support within the production and assembly environment.
* Monitor productivity, quality, and performance across the team.
* Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety procedures.
* Support training and development of team members.
* Assist with problem-solving and continuous improvement activities.
Requirements:
* Previous Team Leader, Supervisor, or similar leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
* Ideally from an engineering or mechanical background.
* Hands-on approach with a willingness to support the team on the shop floor.
* Competent in the use of hand and power tools, including cordless drills and assembly equipment.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
