Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated Warehouse Operatives to join our dynamic logistics team. The successful candidate will be, assisting with shipping and receiving, and maintaining high standards of safety and organisation within the warehouse environment. The position involves physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting and load handling, requiring a proactive approach.
Responsibilities
- Handling materials efficiently, including picking, packing, stocking, and organising stock within the warehouse
- Managing shipping and receiving processes accurately, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods
- Assisting with load and unload activities, including heavy lifting where necessary
- Ensuring the warehouse remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations
- Supporting stock replenishment activities and maintaining accurate stock levels
Experience
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics roles is preferred
- Experience in shipping & receiving procedures, including documentation and compliance requirements
- Strong understanding of picking & packing processes to optimise efficiency
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods
- Prior experience working within a fast-paced environment with strict safety standards is beneficial
