Leadership and Management Qualification

The ILM Level 2 Diploma in Team Leading is a combined knowledge and competency based qualification which is ideal for new team leaders who want to develop themselves as leaders and managers.

The ILM Level 3 Diploma in Management is a combined knowledge and competency based qualification and is ideal for individuals looking to take their first step into line management and for those who already have some management responsibilities. This qualification will build and develop new skills to enhance their management career. This qualification also forms part of the ILM Level 3 Management Apprenticeship.

The ILM Level 4 Diploma in Management Qualification can be made up of both a NVQ and VRQ for a full apprenticeship or these can be done as standalone qualifications.  This level is designed to develop aspiring middle managers and first line managers. Learners build core skills in middle management and can access a wide range of optional study areas to help them gain specific management skills to suit their needs. The qualification develops the knowledge and skills required to take on higher level responsibilities such as planning and implementing change.

The ILM Level 5 Diploma in Management Qualification can be made up of both a NVQ and VRQ for a full apprenticeship or these can be done as standalone qualifications. This level is aimed at middle managers with responsibility for substantial programmes and resources. It develops skills in strategic planning, strategic change and business process design alongside core leadership and management abilities such as inspiring colleagues and delivering results.
